Role: Blackwater Agents – Clean-Cut, Federal Look

Male Extras & Day Players (Ages 25–45)

We’re casting five sharp, fit, and serious-looking men to play Blackwater agents in the pilot episode of the action-drama series Word and Deed. These agents appear at headquarters scenes, non-speaking parts are still open.

Casting Call – Male Actor (Ages 20–30)

We’re looking for a young male actor with a “geeky intelligence” vibe to play a tech surveillance specialist working deep inside Blackwater’s command room. He’s smart, focused, and knows how to work under pressure — but he’s not a field agent. He’s the brain behind the screen, constantly monitoring intel feeds and coordinating with Commander Daker.

Character Breakdown:

This character is a data and tech expert, fluent in high-stakes surveillance, hacking, and satellite tracking. He’s sharp, reliable, and fully committed to the mission. He’s one of the few civilians trusted inside Blackwater’s inner circle, and he knows more than he lets on.

Role: Warehouse Bodyguard #5 (Pilot)

  • Gender: Male
  • Age Range: 25–45
  • Build: Athletic or intimidating presence
  • Wardrobe: All-black modern streetwear

Scene Details:

This character is one of Victor Stonecore’s bodyguards, stationed in a watchtower overlooking the warehouse compound. The role involves a green screen shoot, with the actor being digitally composited into the tower scene.

The bodyguard is eliminated by a sniper as part of a tactical takedown. This is a non-speaking but performance-driven role, relying on body language and physical presence to sell the moment.

Role: Jeffery Larnsworth

Jeffery is a Black man in his late 60s to 80s, the devoted husband of Mildred Larnsworth. He is battling a serious illness that keeps him homebound and unable to attend church. Once a man of strong faith, Jeffery now struggles with questions about God and purpose as his health declines. Though not seen in the pilot episode, his presence is felt, and he will appear in later episodes of Season One in emotionally powerful scenes. This is a sensitive, recurring role requiring depth, subtlety, and heart.

Role: Edith Dellrose

Edith is a warm, faithful woman in her late 60s to 80s and the best friend of Mildred Larnsworth. A recent widow, she deeply misses her late husband and the help he once provided around the house. Though strong in faith and eager to support others in the church, Edith faces her own quiet struggles — from fixing her car to managing everyday life on her own. She is gentle, sincere, and relatable, with moments of both vulnerability and strength. This is a recurring character with heartfelt scenes.

Role: Shellia Jones

Shellia is a young Asian American woman in her mid-20s, working as a nurse while carrying a heavy load of school debt. She’s sweet, kind, and compassionate even while picking up extra shifts to support herself and her boyfriend, Greg Barkley, who is currently unemployed. Though she loves him deeply and tries to be encouraging, the financial and emotional pressure is putting a strain on their relationship. They long to get married and live in alignment with their faith, but life’s obstacles keep getting in the way. This is a heartfelt, emotionally layered role with strong ongoing potential.
